Is it down? Check if a website is down right now
Type any website address. Our server fetches it this second and tells you whether it answered, the HTTP status and how long it took, so you know if it is down for everyone or just you. Below are India's most-searched services, checked every 5 minutes.
Popular Indian services, checked every 5 minutes
Each card shows our latest check of that service's public website. Open a card for the last 24 hours, the number of people reporting a problem, and the official help links. Last check: 22:20 IST.
Green = the website answered at our last check. Black = it did not answer, or answered with a server error. These are independent checks, not official status pages.
How to tell where the problem is
When a site will not open, the fault can be the site, your internet provider, or your own device. Three quick checks narrow it down.
Check from outside
Run the checker above. Our server is on a different network from yours, so if the site answers for us, the site itself is up.
Switch networks
Turn off Wi-Fi and try on mobile data, or the other way round. If it works on one, your internet provider or router is the problem, often its DNS.
Look at the reports
For big services, open its page here and see how many people reported a problem in the last hour. A sudden jump means a real outage, even when the website answers.

How do I know if a website is down for everyone or just me?
Type the address into the checker above. Our server, which is not on your network, fetches the site right now. If it answers for us but not for you, the problem is on your side: your internet connection, your DNS, your browser or a block by your network. If it does not answer for us either, the site really is down.
What do the results mean?
"Up" means the server answered with a normal page (HTTP 2xx or a redirect). "Up (blocks bots)" means it answered but refused an automated visitor, which many banks and shopping sites do; real visitors are not affected. "Server errors" (HTTP 5xx) means the server is reachable but broken. "Not responding" means no answer at all: a timeout, a DNS failure, an SSL problem or a refused connection.
How often are the service pages checked?
Every 5 minutes, from our own monitoring server. Each service page shows the latest result, the last 24 hours of checks and how many people reported a problem in the last hour and the last day.
Why does a service show "Up" when the app is not working for me?
We check the service's public website. An app can fail while the website is fine, because logins, payments and mobile networks run on other servers that no outside tool can test. That is why every page has a "report a problem" button: if many people report at once, something is wrong even if the website answers.
Are these official status pages?
No. HostKarle is an Indian web hosting company and these are independent checks. Each service page links to that company's own help or status page.
Is the checker free?
Yes, with no sign-up. To stop automated abuse, each visitor can run about 40 checks in any 10 minutes.
My own website is down. What should I do?
Check whether the domain has expired (try a WHOIS lookup), whether the hosting account is suspended for an unpaid bill, and whether the host has a known outage. If your host is often down, HostKarle shared hosting starts at ₹99 a month on a yearly plan, and we move the site for you at no cost.
